I built Landfall because I kept needing it
Landfall is made by ellips.es - that's me, Josey Wingfield. I've spent about fifteen years moving clinical data between systems for medical practices, mostly in ophthalmology and retina.
After enough of these, you notice the same thing every time: moving the data is rarely the hard part. The hard part is proving it arrived - all of it, correctly, without quietly dropping a few thousand records nobody catches until a clinician needs them.
Most migration tools treat that proof as an afterthought. Reconciliation ends up being a spreadsheet someone staples on at the end, if it happens at all. I wanted the opposite - a tool built around reconciliation from the start. So I built Landfall.
It does in software what I used to do by hand: discover, crosswalk, dry-run, manifest, review. The difference is you can run it as many times as a careful migration needs, and every run is recorded.
I still take on consulting work, and Landfall is how I deliver it. Increasingly it's how teams run their own migrations without me in the room.
